Orangeries
Orangeries are designed as a more formal version of a conservatory. An orangery has more timber panelling than a conservatory and the glass roof is set in from the outside walls to create a feeling of more light and space.
All the windows and doors to the orangery will be double glazed with any low level glazing having toughened safety glass units.
Ornate pilasters are fitted to the exterior of the orangery, together with an ornate cornice facia.
All our windows and doors will have high quality fittings in either a brassed, chrome or black finish.
Sliding box sash style windows will be hung on spiral spring balances with a locking Fitch fastener and vent lock.
Should you require the orangery to have a Georgian appearance then we can use either a plant on bar system or separate glass units.
All our orangeries, for extra stability and strength, are erected around a steel main-frame.
All flat roof/box gutter parts of the orangery will have Sarnafil polymeric membrane applied.
There is also the option of the orangry roof to have low emissivity glass. Alternative we can offer a uni-comfort roof consisting of tinted anti-sun glass to the outside, gas filled units and soft coat low emissivity glass to the inside.
We can also fit aluminium, thermal, roof vents with either a manual hand winder or electrically operated gear.
All our orangeries are finished in either wood stain or mirco porous paint, all of which is applied in our Essex factory. |
